Monte Bibele
Excursion between the Idice and Zena valleys and to Monte Bibele. Start from the parking lot of the trattoria just before Ca di Bazzone and by asphalt climb to the shrine of Madonna delle Formiche. Here begins a nice single track that alternates between technical and more flowing sections and descends into the Zena valley (it cuts across the asphalt road in several places). From the Zena valley by asphalt you go up to Zena, Crocione, and finally to Querceto di Gorgognano. At Casola take the Cai 813a trail that descends back into Val di Zena: technical track first on mule track and then on single track with some technical passages on dirt and rock and steep slopes.
In Val di Zena take a right and climb up to Monte Bibele, passing through the visitor center and going counterclockwise around the mountain. You climb to the summit and then move left toward the necropolis to take the "Snake" singletrack and then the "Biondina": nice technical trail with steep and nice rock passages. You reach Bisano and here you climb up the opposite ridge via Collina. Follow it, alternating between dirt and asphalt sections, until just above Monterenzio and here take a marked but unmarked trail (follow gps track) that descends to Rocca (flow track with some technical passages). At Rocca turn right and by asphalt you return to the parking lot.
