Monte Amaro di Majella

An unusual climb to Majella's Mount Amaro from Campo di Giove with1900 meters of elevation gain, pedaling for an hour to Secina scrub, 2 challenging hours of pushing and backpacking bikes to Forchetta di Maiella. Riding through beautiful Femmina Morta to Pelino bivouac with pushing sections, passing Canosa cave. Descent to Fara San Martino in the magnificent Cinnamon Valley always breathtaking and rewarding, and 2500 meters of descent elevation gain on hostile trails, flow segments, sections on loose fixed rocks and scree, which test physique and riding technique.
