ETNA SUD 2: Trail Carpentieri - TFT Fischer - Mirio - Pitrazza

The trail starts from Altomontana-Milia parking lot near Ariel refuge, there are 4 trails:

CARPENTERS: km 0.79, dsl -92 mt, average gradient -11.5%, trail (S0-S1) flow with a central part with natural lava steps, sandy and rocky terrain with loose stones. Difficulties are due to the fact that it is mainly a hiking trail but rideable, but not maintained so it evolves some times for the better or worse.

TFT FISHER: km 1.28, dsl -159 mt, average gradient -12.4%, very flowing trail (S0-S1) in the woods with a couple of very fun toboggans, sandy soil with roots. Periodically maintained

MIRIO: km 1.41, dsl -155 mt, average gradient -11%, trail (S0) over an old trazzera that serves as a link to reach the Pitrazza Trail, sandy ground and loose stones.

PITRAZZA: km 2.02, dsl -230 mt, average gradient -11.4%, trail (S1) mixed flow with somewhat technical passages over natural steps and final part with possibility of jumps over 70-90 cm ramps. Rocky and sandy terrain with loose stones. Periodically maintained.
