merse yourself in the unspoiled nature of the Apennines, admire the striking sinkholes and enjoy the breathtaking views of Torraccia Mountain. This trail will take you to discover the most fascinating places in the area, offering an experience to remember.

Start by going through the village to enter an uphill single track in the woods. Passing a road, you go up again to enter after some asphalt in a curbside cairn. After a few crossroads you pass the source i Tufi still in the woods but downhill, and then climb back up into the sinkholes area, again uphill in a forest of tall conifers.

Then, among fields and woods you reach the views of Mount Torraccia and begin to descend along beautiful trails in mixed forest on the border between Modena and Bologna. The trail then climbs back up to Mount Terminale following the Gothic line. After Iola there is another tasty descent and a short climb that leads through fields and groves on a final beautiful descent that fords a stream and returns to Montese.

MTB 4 I Tufi is one of many mountain bike trails in collaboration between 841 RIDE Wild and the Municipality of Montese, which with varying levels of difficulty, elevation gain and length, according to IMBA's ITRS signage, take you through an area perfect for your dowels.
