Menas

With its 580 m of downhill elevation gain, this trail connects Ortisè with Mezzana via old mule tracks, trail sections and dirt roads.

Once up to Ortisè, a hamlet of the municipality of Mezzana, you reach, via a secondary paved road (generally with little traffic), the hamlet of Menas. From up here the view of the mountains surrounding Val di Sole is very wide indeed: a panorama so spacious that it goes from the Brenta Dolomites to the Adamello Presanella mountain group.

From Menas the trail starts: you start descending first on a dirt road, then the road narrows more and more until it becomes a mule track and then a fun trail for a few stretches. The last part of the trail is on a cemented road to Mezzana.
