Spinoso - Capolavella - Monte Raparo
From the town of Spinoso (PZ) one travels along SP7 to the locality of Vella. From here continue uphill along a mountain road to the locality T.pa Ceraso. Now downhill on a dirt road you reach the locality Ciambrello. Technically nothing difficult except for a few sections with 15% gradients. Now continue along the trail uphill to the locality Capolavello, uphill section with a few small rocks to overcome without particular difficulty. We come out on a ridge line admiring our destination: Mount Raparo. We continue along the path, which is well evident but not very well marked, with uphill stretches on rocky ground and slopes around 10/20%. We arrive on a plateau and the summit seems closer and closer. From here we can admire the surrounding peaks (Monte Alpi, Monte Papa, Monte Raparo) as we continue to climb along the trail. The last section of trail on scree (quite technical) begins until we reach the summit of Mt. Raparo.
After enjoying the view of the entire Agri Valley, we descend again along the same path to acqua la Spina locality. Here we turn left entering, still downhill, a wonderful beech forest that will lead us to the Raparo cross refuge. Last stop to admire the landscape and then take the paved mountain road (with little traffic) that will lead us back to the village of Spinoso (PZ) in a short time.
