Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Lucano
Itinerary immersed in the heart of the Lucanian Apennine National Park. It starts from the town of Spinoso (PZ) and following for about 4 km the asphalt road (SP 7) you reach the locality Vella, from here always on an asphalt road (not very busy - mountain road) until the locality Tempa Ceraso. From here take a dirt road, first downhill and then uphill to the locality Ciambrello (difficulty scale S1). Continue uphill to the locality of Capolavello, fully admiring the landscape and catching a glimpse of Monte Raparo (S2). Once past the ascent and out of the woods, continue along a ridge, taking a left fork that will lead us toward the chapel of Santa Maria dei Termini (route entirely downhill with slopes of 20-35 % difficulty S2). From the chapel continue on asphalt until tucking into the SP 7 road to return to the village of Spinoso (PZ).
Caution: path being created signage; watch out for animal pens.
