Pregasina e Trota

Scenic jaunt from Riva del #garda to Pregasina, via the spectacular Ponale road and down on the cuts and then the Trout trail.

At Pregasina the trail sends on the super scenic ridge overlooking the lake. It is almost all pedaled uphill and is a great place to take some photos.

Both the cuts and the Trout are quite stony and challenging so, despite being a short ride, it requires good bike control.

Otherwise go down the same way you came up; the Ponale is beautiful on the descent as well.

At the end of Trout, when you get to the abandoned restaurant that gives the descent its name, be careful to merge onto the Gardesana. The tunnel to Riva is lit and there is no problem biking down it.
