Monte Bar Nord

The tour begins in Tesserete, from which we set off to reach the Monte Bar Hut. 1100 meters of elevation gain on a mostly paved road with a fairly constant gradient. When you arrive at the hut you can refresh yourself, because from here on there will be no more huts. Continue to Piandanazzo on a dirt road, then climb to the small mouth below Cima Moncucco.

From here you descend to Alpe Matro on a nice easy trail. This is a military zone, so be careful if there are signs of exercises (they should always be on the other side anyway). From Matro turn left and climb 20 meters steeply until you cross the trail that will take you, after several km and some ups and downs, to Davrosio. From Davrosio you take the "usual" Crocione descent, that is, the one that is totally on singletrack and that those who know the area will have already done.
