Fra la Val Seriana e la Val Brembana
This is an almost all pedalable trail. It is a variation of this track, which although shorter has an ascent that is difficult to pedal by MTBs. However, the elevation gain of this one is reducible to 1800 meters avoiding Monte Castello, the climb to Salmezza and then descending to Madonna del Perello.
The start can be made in Val seriana near Madona di Trevasco or in Val Brembana in Località Lallio near Poscante, if instead you want to start further down the valley the elevation gain increases. Starting from Trevasco you have to go through a not too rideable path to reconnect with the Selvino climb. From here up to Selvino is asphalt with manageable gradient, stretch up to Salmezza on challenging asphalt Arrived in the Salmezza area we leave the asphalt in the direction of Monte Costone, the climb is mostly pedalable, it develops on a beautiful ridge and after the last 5 minutes with push bike takes us in to the Madonnina del Monte Costone and already this part is worth the beauty of the ride.
Protectors on because a 780-meter descent of enjoyment awaits us! The more skilled can descend from the S3+ vertical; while for those who don't feel up to it, follow the trail partly retracing their steps and diverting to a nice S1/S2. Arriving at the junction at an elevation of 950 meters, 100m of a scenic S3- awaits us before becoming a beautiful guided in the forest S1 with a few S2 passages. At an elevation of 550 meters the trail veers west on a nice S3, for those who don't feel up to it veer north.
From here begins an ascent that from Val Brembana will take us back to Val Seriana, but not without some interesting stops. In Miragolo it is possible to deviate from a nice trail of Monte Catello, the 80-meter climb is very challenging but the trail ahead is beautiful, an initial S2 then becoming a nice S1 eat and drink on trail. Back on asphalt the destination is Madonna del Perello from which you can get via asphalt or by following the trail on a beautiful S2+ descent. We continue on a nice S1/S2 to Selvino and then climb a small hill and descend to Trevasco: the first (short) part of the descent is nice and scenic and immediately shows its character, with a nice trail initially exposed with a couple of S3 passages and a very short S4 exposed 5-step ladder. It then continues a lot with beautiful flowing and guided sections alternating with beautiful switchbacks and some nice technical switchbacks.
