Giro delle malghe + Passo Tratto Spino

MTB tour that follows the loop route of the malghe tour with a detour to Passo Tratto Spino where the cable car that comes up from Malcesine arrives and from where you can admire Lake #garda (bar/restaurant almost always open). The ride involves several ups and downs and is not technically difficult. There will be some paved sections (the bare minimum), many unpaved forest roads and some trails of S2 difficulty.

From the starting point to Cavallo di Novezza you will ride on an uphill asphalt road VERY busy with motorcycles in summer and all in the sun so I recommend an early start. After the pass between ups and downs on forest roads and a few short sections of trail you will reach Malga Dossioli (also here bar open in summer). From here we will resume the asphalt road we had left previously until a crossroads where we will turn left to climb to Passo Tratto Spino on a dirt road. From Passo Tratto Spino the first real descent begins on a medium-steep path with classic Garda bottom (fixed and loose rocks with a couple of passages of S3 difficulty where you have to pay attention and some hairpin bends). After finishing the path we return on asphalt toward Malga Dossioli where we will backtrack a short piece done uphill but turning at the first fork to the left where another path in the woods will begin, this time easier but no less steep than the previous one and with a loose bottom. Mostly downhill between asphalt, dirt road and path we will reach Malga Pian Della Cenere from where a climb on dirt road will begin to Malga Fassole Alte. Short descent, small push climb that will then be repaid by a beautiful path immersed in the forest and with a dirt bottom that will cut coast to coast the mountain. Return then to the starting point on dirt roads.
