Anello 3 rifugi Valpellice
A tour, "classic" and very well known in the upper Pellice Valley: starting from the center of Bobbio Pellice, you follow the steep road up the Comba dei Carbonieri to the "Barbara" refuge (1,753 meters), where there is a charging point for e-bikes. From here starts the ex-military dirt road that reaches Colle Barant (2,373 meters) and the refuge of the same name, from which the panorama opens up vastly to 360°, bordered by Monviso on one side and the border ridges with France on the other. Nearby it is also possible to visit the "B. Peyronel" botanical garden, one of the highest in Europe. Afterwards you descend down into the beautiful Conca del Prà to reach the "Jervis" refuge (1,732 meters), then you skirt the course of the Pellice stream admiring some impressive waterfalls and arrive at the Villanova hamlet, from which you return to the starting point.
The difficulty is only physical for the steep climb to the Barbara ( paved), then the military roads are also passable by Gravel Bike (at least a hardtail is recommended, however). Included in my track is a cut on trail (S2) that can be safely avoided by following the official directions from Jervis hut.
