Bike Area Quarto
Bike area in the foothills of Cesena.
The area is divided into two sections: the upper section, with two trails that connect to those in the lower section. Whether you decide to head up to the upper section or the lower section, in either case you can’t use a vehicle to get there—or to be precise, you can drive part of the way up to the upper section, but only up to a certain point, about halfway, after which you have to pedal the rest of the way, and the slope gets “challenging” as you approach the summit.
So I prefer to use an e-bike; it seems to me the best way to enjoy this bike area, but with good training, you can easily do it on a regular bike too. If you consider just the lower section, the trails are rather short, so I always prefer to go up to the upper section, from which two trails start—both of medium difficulty—that connect to all the other trails in the lower section.
All the trails are a great mix of natural sections and more groomed parts with gentle banked turns and small jumps; you can find a bit of everything, from the most flowy trails to decidedly more technical ones, with tight turns all the way to the steepest and roughest ones. Moderate difficulty—nothing impossible and all very fun.
Kudos to the local guys who keep the trails in great shape.
