Passo della Volpe Monte Castellino Cai 74

Departure from Metello di Soraggio in the direction of the Focerella Pass then descent to the Bargetana refuge, continuing to reach the Lama Lite Pass. We continue in the direction of Passone and then follow CAI 607 passing under the summit of Alpe di Vallestrina and from the pass of the same name until we reach Passo della Volpe also known as Bocca di Val Calda.

From the pass we abandon CAI 607 in favor of 681 or Lamaccio a splendid path that takes us to the forest road coming from Case Cattalini (Civago). We ascend again to the Lama Lite Pass and then tackle a shoulder bike section that, passing by the small Bargetana pond, leads us to the saddle of Monte Prado. We are on the GEA ridge trail that we will follow until we reach the summit of Mt. Castellino 1947 meters and then take a nice steep descent to Focerella Pass.

Last effort to reach the summit of Ravaianda from where the long final descent begins, passing through the Romecchio pass and then following Cai 74. The trail is spectacular for those who love the natural with passages of all kinds. Reached Metello again, obligatory stop at the Osteria for a nice chop and a thirst-quenching beer.
