Monte Lama e monte La Penna

Challenging ride in Valnure, beautiful final descent, beautiful views from Mt. Lama and Mt. La Penna.

Departure from Bramaiano di Bettola, climb into the remote valley on asphalt to Rigolo, 2 km of steep dirt road then undulating dirt road to Riovalle where, at the fountain, begins asphalt road to Linguada pass then at Franchini begins climb, steep in places, to Mt. Lama from flat top and great view,

Now descent, 30 meters walk then challenging to the woods, however short descent, Now long challenging trail with ups and downs and some points where you get off the bike for puddles and pebbles, improves after Mt. Menegosa where it is all rideable. After Santa Franca pass you start to descend to La Penna mountain, sections with puddles. Short return and descent to Montelana on dirt road all in the woods.

Short asphalt road to Prato Barbieri then dirt road downhill to Forlini, short climb to Costa on asphalt then spectacular dicesa on ridge to Fontanavento, stretches of beautiful views. First stony and more challenging section, second section on dirt, then asphalt to reach starting point.

Water at Riovalle and Montelana are in the trail.
