Description
The tour starts from a large roadside parking lot in Santa Croce, on the Trieste Karst. Following the trail we will be able to see several caves, including: the Blue Cave, the Cave of the Vipers, the Cave of the Boats, the Old Cemetery Cave and the Military Cemetery Cave. The peaks touched are also fascinating, with Mt. St. Leonard and the Slivia Castelliere.
The bottom is all karst so we won't have problems with poor drainage after rains, always be careful and protect though against ticks.
