Lago del Terzo-Berceto integrale-Poggio-Cai 425 basso-Orma del Bue
Departing from #fanano, go up the asphalt road to Via Canevare and, just before the village of Canevare, take the ramps of Via Cervara on the right, still on asphalt; only the last short stretch will become a driveway. When you reach the end of the road, continue straight on the Cai path marked 433, which you follow until you return to the asphalt. Here continue uphill on Via Cimone and at the junction with Via Cimoncino keep right continuing on Via Cimone until you reach Lago della Ninfa.
Here it continues on asphalt taking the military road that climbs to Pian Cavallaro. After passing Fontana Bedini on the hairpin bend, you immediately turn onto the Cai trail marked No. 441, to abandon it almost immediately continuing along the service roadway of the ski lifts. You then take a single-track path to reach Lake Terzo joining the beautiful and varied Berceto descent (Cai 439). The trail begins on ridge past which it almost immediately enters the woods. It is a mostly flowing and fairly fast descent with rocks and roots. Only at one point, as the bridge over the stream has collapsed and has not yet been rebuilt, you will have to push the bike by hand. Once the forest section is over, the trail proceeds begins the descent of the Berceto Classico, which can be taken from Cimoncino.
It begins with a gently sloping ridge section that gradually increases in technical difficulty until it reaches a totally uncovered and scenic section that opens overhanging the Fellicarolo valley below. From here the descent continues for a stretch on the ridge to abandon it by deviating to the left onto a meadow and then entering the woods. Once in the woods, the soul of the Berceto is revealed: roots, stones, bottlenecks and some tight, stair-step bends make this a technical and physical trail, almost all downhill except for a short relaunch. At the end of the trail you can deviate to the left toward Canevare and return to Fanano by trail named Merdoso or, as in the trail, deviate to the right down always with a nice single-track in the Fellicarolo valley.
On the trail at a certain point, before a relaunch you will have to deviate to the left to arrive near a house and from here descend on the paved road that leads to Fellicarolo. Once up to the village, at the fountain in the small square you will have to continue uphill on the left and keep to the asphalt road to get to Poggio. After passing the locality of Teggia after a short ascent, you will have to take a left on via Poggio, which will become a driveway to your destination.
In the locality of Poggio, passing through the courtyard of a house, you will have to take the grassy ramp and follow the beautiful coast path that departs from it, unfortunately not marked. It is a nice, fast descent on path, with rocky sections and often a wet bottom. It then flattens out until it rejoins Cai 425 at its lower end. Follow the fast and technical descent with rocks and roots of 425 and continue on the trail to face the narrow and rocky descent of Orma del Bue until the wooden bridge from where, still on trail, you return to Fanano.
