Valle Santa Felicita Paradise
Short but intense itinerary, the first part of the descent is easy and fun , then it becomes suitable only for those who want to test themselves with the nose press, to be done without hurry in order to retry n. times the tightest hairpins ! Be careful because it is often exposed, not all the hairpin bends are cyclable by humans.
The departure can be either from the Santa Felicita parking lot where the IronMike route "The most technical trail of Grappa" also starts or from Borso sul Grappa where the gps track starts.
The ascent to Campo Croce is without asphalt on CAI 196 path that is always well cyclable, but eventually there is asphalt that with very boring path arrives at the same point or allows you to reach the most technical part of the descent by taking the path from the hairpin bend between the two paraglider departures.
From Campo Croce you follow the signs to Val Colombera on the sent. 100, initially very fun, then at the second detour (the one coming from the state highway hairpin bend) the technical part begins with a bottom always of compact earth and fixed rock, but very narrow and often exposed and all very stetti hairpin bends but doable almost all with very good technique (and several trials), only 4-5 are really off-limits!
We leave out the last part of the trail that descends steeply into the valley (I don't think it is cyclable) staying on the high trail that still gives numerous hairpin bends that gradually become less challenging but still very fun.
Arriving at the bottom of the valley if you still feel like doing nose-press defatigue, going up two hairpin bends on the asphalt towards Campo Croce you make a traverse on a trail that then goes down with a series of fun hairpin bends that are never exposed where you can immediately check if the training you just did was useful.
