TRAIL BRACCONIERI - FRANA - DINAVOLO (PC)

Departure from Rallio di Montechiaro in the Trebbia Valley (PC). On a dirt road we pass the villages of Ca' Donnino and Gattavera. Hard ramps at the hamlet of Ammaini . Now singletrack up to Monte Barbieri (the trail includes a push variant to bypass a section of path unusable due to forest cutting). We arrive at the barely evident entrance to the Bracconieri trail. Here again, unfortunately, forest cutting forces us to take a variant with a very steep section.

We meet the dirt road that goes up from the Cassinari and move onto the Frana trail, a very enjoyable descent in the gullies section. Short climb up to Spettine Castle and then down again following the final part of the Bracconieri trail. Now ascent on asphalt until Casaleto, passage in the badlands and we reach Chiulano (source above the Church). Ascend to the top of Mount Dinavolo and then begin the descent first in pine forest, then on scree, then very guided on dirt. Return to Rallio via Case Camia.
