Bel percorso sui due fianchi del Vajo di Mezzane

Interesting and pleasant route on the two flanks of the Vajo di Mezzane. You begin by taking the classic gate climb about halfway up, where you abandon it by bending to the left. You cross a small stream and climb between beautiful hamlets and vine fields to the paved road that runs along the ridge. Along this climb you face some hard ramps on concrete. Very nice final traverse on dirt road leading to ridge. From the Collina dei Ciliegi fast descent all the way down into the Vajo di Mezzane. Very nice and technically interesting last section on rocky trail with some steep passages that require a minimum of technique.

To go up the opposite side you need to push the bike for a few minutes if you do not have dynamite in your legs, or you have an e-bike. In fact, the bottom is very steep, rocky and there are small rocky steps. Thus you reach the route of the classic Granfondo Lessinia Legend. You follow it until near Moruri, where you leave it to reach the village. One could clearly continue along the granfondo route, which is very beautiful and interesting, but has already been done recently. In fact, our goal today was to try the Molinetto della Kteca descent. It is reached on a comfortable, low-traffic asphalt road. The Molinetto descent is very nice, smooth and fast. Absolutely recommended for any biker with a minimum of familiarity with descents on stony trail. The descent is not difficult, however certainly not trivial. There are some steep sections and sharp turns on narrow, steep trail.
