Val di Zoldo, Spiz Zuel

The Spiz Zuel descent is a Valley classic, 800m very nice.

Reach Pecol somehow. Uphill through various scree slopes to Paradis and Forcella dei Tolp. Incidentally, from the Forcella dei Tolp it is possible to descend to the Palma by a trail that is not without interest, though a bit wild in places. However from the Tolp still uphill to the spring and then RIGHT (be careful) to Spiz Zuel. A visit to the sculpture (the Christ of Gratian) at the summit is a must. Back at the junction, the first 100m of descent is the most difficult, then we thread an interminable flow to the Fusine cemetery. Also nice, a technically nontrivial section, the return to the valley via Cercenà.
