Monte Cesariis - Moggessa di qua - Moggessa di la
Cyclo-mountaineering route with a challenging climb to just beyond the panoramic terrace near Mt. Cesaris, descend along the steep Snow White trail in the woods to Moggessa di Qua, climb steeply back to Moggessa di Là, descend along the not very practicable trail to the Glagno stream which you have to ford, climb with your bike on your back to Stavoli and ride up and down along the stream on the pleasant trail until near Campiolo, to close the loop on asphalt.
Start in Moggio Udinese, climb into the center and continue uphill to the first right at the top, climb again on asphalt on a steep road to the first hairpin bend, from which you descend along a small path, climb again and near a house descend to the left still on path, to regain the asphalt and climb. At the first junction on the right and shortly after, the road becomes a dirt road and begins to narrow (direction Troi dai Borcs), increasing in gradient, with a rather compact bottom and some roots to climb over, almost all pedalable with difficulty, until you get around Mount Cesariis and gain the panoramic terrace (Balcon dei Provezi) overlooking the two Moggessa and the valley of the Glagno stream.
Continue on the uphill path that becomes up and down and after 400m take the path (no longer marked) that descends to the left, the famous Biancaneve. Rather steep in the middle of the forest, with dirt bottom and some surfacing roots, interrupted in places by branches and crashes, still fun. Descend to Moggessa di Qua, a beautifully secluded mountain hamlet in a wild valley, continue on narrow, steep dirt road uphill to Moggessa di Là and then next to a house descend on grass-bottomed trail.
