Monte Slavnik
Karst route between Cross Country and Enduro with dirt ascent to the top of Mount Slavnik and descent on more or less wide paths of varying difficulty.
We start from Hrpelie (Kozina) park sports field and immediately begin to climb to the top, on dirt road with gentle slope immersed in the forest until a viewpoint with a junction where we turn left into the shade on the Northeast side again in the forest, and then find the meadows near the top. You soon reach the Tumova hut and the nearby summit from which there is a splendid 360° pamorama, from the Alps to the Slovenian mountains to the sea and the Croatian coast.
You descend down the slope and follow the cart track for a few hundred meters and then take a path to the right with an up and down rocky and grassy bottom, which shortly after enters the forest, then alternating glades and bushes, with a fairly smooth bottom. You cross the road from the ascent and descend on more challenging and steep trail with rocky sections and steps, among sparse trees. You cross the tracks twice and ascend on steep but short cart track through the forest to the Lovski dom pod Glavico hut, beyond which you cross the cart track and descend on wide path with grassy and dirt surface with up and down sections leading with a few crossings to the cart track back to Hrpelie.
