Lago di Gusana da Fonni

Very scenic and scenically stunning route, relatively easy, with some short singletrack ranging from easy to slightly challenging. We start from Fonni, the highest town in Sardinia, but the tour always takes place at lower altitudes; we head towards Lodine intercepting the state road, after facing some agrarian small roads that unfortunately are not in very good condition, but the route is doable, the only little problem are the many fences to climb over easily and a single gate right before entering the road that is high so you will have to obligatorily help each other comrades.

Once you cross and pass the village of Lodine, you overlook a beautiful viewpoint over the lake, after which you face a sigletrack that is partly challenging only and only because of some loose and/or slippery stones depending on the weather conditions. We also reach and cross the village of Gavoi after which a short but steep climb takes us to a second scenic singletrack with a view of the dam and fun with some not difficult technical passages. Once in the valley we skirt the lake, first on dirt road, then on splendid and easy singletrack, finally climbing up to Fonni on comfortable state road, with little traffic.
