Vieste Tacca del Lupo sentiero Macera

Challenging tour in Umbra forest, counterclockwise direction.

From Vieste with paved roads to a pass, from there dirt road with a steep then undulating section to the Ginestra dirt road.

Now long ascent with not very smooth surface, some steep sections and more flat.

At the asphalt you go left and pass the radar and start descending to Tacca del Lupo, very nice descent for me with a viewpoint near the old barracks.

At asphalt climb 2 km then left nice stony trails to wild paradise, then follow Macera trail marked with signs.

A series of ups and downs then challenging stony descent with very scenic sections to the waterfront.
