Fontana Raminosa da Meana

Spectacular itinerary between Mandrolisai and Barbagia di Seulo with a stop at the mine of Fontana Raminosa.

We start from the town of Meana Sardo and a comfortable climb on well-trodden forest tracks we will cross the ridges of the Sant'Elia and S'Iscova mountains at about 1000m and after a very long descent we will reach the mine of Fontana Raminosa. The ascent is rather challenging as it is steep and without breaks but fortunately on asphalt, so however you will reach the plateau of Santa Sofia and Ortuabis and always on comfortable dirt tracks in false level you will head back to the starting point, not before a short final ascent that at this point however will probably be a pain.
