Description
Itinerary to discover the various World War I forts on the Lavarone plateau, starting from the beautiful Lavarone Lake.
From the lake you arrive at the Belvedere fort, very well maintained with the possibility of visiting. Then head north, go around the ski lifts, and you can descend on specially prepared bike trails of varying difficulty. We then take a nice forest trail with views of the valley, then the spring trail with various ups and downs and arrive at the former Austrian command fort.
The last climb takes us to the Austro-Hungarian observatory at Mt. Rust and then down on a nice trail to the lake.
