Description
Very nice itinerary, with historical overtones, exploring the many Austro-Hungarian forts scattered along the coast north of Pula.
The town of Pula is also very beautiful. From the Pineta campsite, above Fažana, we pass Fažana and on to Punta Christo with its strange sculptures and paintings.
Then you pass the various old forts hidden in the bush, follow beautiful trails, pass along a mtb trail before Pula, and arrive in Pula with its Roman amphitheater and beautiful center. You head north back inland, first a paved section, then on old grass roads and arrive at the campsite.
