Mount Nero S202
The climb up to Corsini is the classic Acquanera climb.
At the refuge keep a little high to avoid the barbed wire, on the indications of Sentiero Italia, then abandon it as soon as convenient and descend with no obligatory route along the Prato del Conte. The first landmark is the junction with CAI 35, keep to the right, go over the little rocks of Passo della Madonna and descend, with a few steep passages on a loose ground, but now without any doubt of orientation, until you overlook the Muracci.
At the Muracci take a steep descent to the right, not tackled in the saddle imho but it's only 5 minutes, to the slip road that joins the Infernaccio sbrecci.
For the one at Piobbico.
Additional notes for the punctilious, exploratory descents spring 2022.
From Muracci left for 202 riding maybe 50% to the end of the ridge, then nice though a bit dirty to the fountains.
From Muracci uphill to Infernaccio waterfall and then downhill to 201 frankly inadvisable. Not so much because of the hard portage below the waterfall, in the end it is 50 meters, but because of the general condition of the 201, which is now no longer rideable due to erosion and various collapses. So if you must do the 202. That if someone goes back there with a billhook maybe it becomes 75% practicable.
Crossing the Abyss Valley at the Old Mill and going up to Santa Maria doable but by now we are at the bottom ...
Have a good time.
Paul.
