Foresta Umbra Gargano Vieste

Long ride through the Umbrian forest, clockwise.

Start by following the semi-paved climb of Wild Paradise with a steady slope, then steeper next to the dump, further up to the left follow the trail that comes out at Coppa Fusillo where there are tables for resting

Now you follow the St. Michael's Pilgrims trail just fixed a few caution points for rocks.

At the gully you go up into the woods to the Baccone rest area, a trail with a steep ramp and a bit ruined.

A few km of asphalt to get to the Baracconi forest center, then nice trails in the woods going up to the radar.

Go left down the endless Ginestra descent on dirt road, then at a bend turn right following the dirt road up and down to the asphalt.

Now steep but not long stretch, then follow the long ridge out to the kennel.

Asphalt all the way to Vieste,

No water anywhere, not even a bar.
