Lagazuoi e forcella da Lec

From the Sciarè parking lot, climb on asphalt to the Valparola pass, then descend to the Falzarego pass.

From here the fun begins! Climb up the Lagazuoi ski slope, only partly rideable and very pushy, but the views begin to be stunning. A very steep stony section up to the Lagazuoi pass, then the trail climbs in hairpin bends to the cable car. From here you pedal up to the summit cross, with nothing short of stunning views of the Dolomites. You return up to the Lagazuoi pass and go left on a nice trail to the Lagazuoi lake.

Before the lake go right on narrow path, almost all pushing, with steep sections, to the Forcella da Lago, with superb views of the Dolomite spires. You descend on foot for a few meters, then the trail is all pedalable, very enjoyable, to the junction with trail n1.

Here you descend to the valley floor, first with a couple of climbs, then, from the col de Locia, with very challenging technical sections. Stunning itinerary, to be done in October after the cable car closes, before that it is too busy.
