Monte Tinjan e Socerb
Cyclo-mountaineering route due to the construction site on Mount Tinjan that to date requires finding alternative roads and trails to reach the summit. Typical karst up and down route mixed dirt and asphalt until the ascent to Tinjan, hard climb with long pushing sections to the village, descent on dirt and trails to the up and down that leads to Gabrovizza, medium climb to beyond Crni Kal, up and down dirt to Socerb fortress and descent on medium difficulty rocky trail to Bagnoli.
Start at the theater park in Bagnoli della Rosandra and pedal on asphalt toward Crogole, at the first left climb up the steep almost immediately on dirt, then up and down and a short trail to Dolina, where you descend on asphalt to climb again and after about 200m on the dirt road on the left to avoid the road and return after 1km, continue to climb on asphalt (ignoring the Istralandia Trail entrance on the right) and enter the village at Prebeneg. At the end of the village, continue on trail, with first part more guided and then smoother and wider, with always dirt and stony bottom, with very fascinating views. You soon reach the road near Osp, cross it if you want to try to cross the stream a little further on, but for us it is necessary to turn around and look for the dirt road further south to climb Mount Tinjan. As of today the road is under construction on the former sediment but is broken , so it is necessary to find alternative paths, in this area very steep but fairly clean, thanks to which one is able to climb by skirting the construction site. At the top, after a water refill, you descend again along a fast and treacherous path due to the moving rocks...
