Mtb itinerary in Aspromonte, destination the Dolomites of the South.

We start from Canolo Nuova passing almost all the town, after which we cross the pine and beech forest, ride a short stretch of the SS and then intercept the track of the aqueduct of Gerace. here in some it will be necessary to get off the bike because of the stones present. You will reach near the Mandarola locality and then go back up to the Scorciapelle locality. From here you continue downhill towards the center of Canolo, and on the right you can see the various rocky outcrops that form the Dolomites of the South. The landscape continues to be very beautiful, continuing the ride on the left you can see the small waterfalls of the Pachina stream. Continue through the stone quarrying company characterized on the left by the vertical walls of Mount Mutolo. You pass the town and return to the starting point.

The route is for less than 9 km on asphalt, all the rest on dirt paths, and is suitable for people of all levels. It is a very atmospheric ride, to be taken slowly, enjoying the Aspromonte!
