Montecatini Alto

Pleasant and rewarding ride (challenging uphill) in the beautiful hills around Montecatini with striking passages through the medieval villages of Buggiano Castello, Colle di Buggiano and Montecatini Alto , We also pass by the medieval bridges of Maciste, Barano and the sanctuary of Croci.

Medium-high physical difficulty uphill, low technical difficulty. Entirely rideable except for a short section of mule track (about 150 m) uphill shortly after the start that is difficult to do in the saddle. It partly traces the route of the Gran Fondo.
